Thought it would be a fun challenge to make a photo-negative tonal drawing knowing that I'll invert it digitally in Photoshop for the final. It helped to study ultrasound images, and I labelled the areas in my drawing with which grey value to use for each. #SciArtINK2022

I think it helped that the game was heavily focussed on colour silhouettes and had realtime lighting in it to support itself. But those areas in full shade definitely could do with some gradient love <3

What's your take on this type of topology on joint areas?

Weather models showing very unsettled spell of weather over next 7 days with risk of stormy conditions and heavy rain. One model (ECMWF) showing over 100mm over the 7 days and also risk of strong winds around Monday night/Tuesday. Those in areas prone to flooding be aware.

Less flattering angle. Obviously needs textures for some of the essentials (lines for both detail and shading areas that are always in the dark) but given this is a very unfinished work it's looking aight so far.

Honestly appalled that someone like me (a bumbling amateur) can create a model that looks...passable? It's absolutely not professional and would be bullied relentlessly over certain areas of the topology, but...I mean she *looks* like the character I designed. That's wild to me

I didn't saved the layer where i use multiply layer effect to roughly sketch out the shadow areas (but u'll get the idea). Also I used 3d materials for the props and paint over it to get a more realistic look of the globes.
