For me, it varies.
I find the loose sketches translate better for stickers while the refined sketches worked better for my other works.

Fact Family Guy had its series categorized as volumes until Volume 12 on DVDs, mainly due to how the first season only has 6 episodes, and also had season 2 in the volume, with few episodes (as I remember like 2 episodes per DVD) had commentaries.
