The body language in this comic was very intentional. Dabi turns away as he admits that he chose this place on purpose. With his back fully turned, he's trying to divorce his own feelings for Endeavor, while his words reassure Tenko.

Tenko may have been spitballing here, happy with his time spent with Dabi so of course he wants to stay. Dabi's expression is muted as Tenko says this however, because something feels off about that desire.

After some comical bonding between the two it was time to address (not resolve) this conflict.

This panel was meant to highlight the differences in perspective. Tenko looks up immediately but Dabi's world is still small, so he never had before. Tenko helps him realize this.

I knew from the start of all this arc, that I couldn't ignore the conflict of Tenko and Endeavor, and then also visiting Dabi. I love Enji, but I also really love Dabi - I wanted to give them both space.
