Seems like we're all badgered by demons. The darkness clings to writers like ink.

Certainly, we should resist, seek help & strive for mental health.

But do you ever like that small touch of darkness hanging on you?

Its hard for me to think what kind of good dreams Ron would have, but Jalf is afraid of the concept of angels becoming demons. This is what he'd imagine would happen to him.
