Finished the Dalton promo remake
Tried using area selection and actual gradients for the shading instead of painting the transparency masks and I think it turned out well :)

@boyohboydwn15 lol, well if u feel stuck with ur own artsyle pulling reference from the artstyles that u admire could help. my artstyle was heavily influenced by Dead Leaves (my luv for deep dark linework), And Sonic Adventure (my luv of gradients).
@FromHappyRock I like how I do textures, and colour gradients. I think my values are starting to get better too..

@bubblinekiss not sure how you feel about gradients but here is my take? you do not have to keep the spots or pattern on tail or anything but maybe just a more muted purple would work
