I was surprised how proportionately recent my "first" digital art was? I'd been using photoshop for years but without a tablet, I scanned in pencil/ink drawings and just coloured over them until 2010.

As I am wont to do, tried to find something similar energy for the newer one! https://t.co/Mzl4JGXPm1

And lately I've noticed how people's OCs/styles tend to "grow up" along with the artist, like not just the skill, but also the facial proportions n stuff! I just think that's so darn neat!!! ❤️💦💦💦 https://t.co/d54c8LlQyo

"I could hear you looking at me weirdly..."

The faelings are distant from their frail folk cousins. Alas, it doesn't make them any less weird.

Trying to exaggerate proportions a little with this. Was going to go with blue hair, but...

I've been experimenting with my art style for almost a year & hardly posted any of it :')

So here we go, starting with an early experiment using mostly solid colours for shading.

Also I started to change the body proportions but had a hard time not drawing massive heads... -w-"

ill share the face portion too since im pretty happy with the shading so far

pretty out of proportion but I tried anime style Subaru :D

'Annihilation' by Jeff Vandermeer

A portion of the world is sequestered by unknown means: Area X. An expedition is sent out to explore. Biological anomalies & mysteries abound. First of 3 (soon 4) books; I recommend just reading the first as it is short, thrilling, & damn smart.

🦑There were non-Euclidian forms everywhere: cones of all degrees of irregularity & truncation; terraces of every sort of provocative disproportion; shafts with odd bulbous enlargements; & five-pointed or five-ridged arrangements of mad grotesqueness🎨Jay Gordon🦑#Lovecraftian

I tried to fuse My Little Pony visual style with Gyari's (https://t.co/4p2pTzH2ws) drawing style, although it still takes time... I will try to change some proportion and adapt more tomorrow

'The number of Scots may be proportioned & mixed with English forces in Ulster, that all fear of inconvenience may be removed' in other words the English didn't trust the Scots. While Tyrone had some Scots (& McDonnell a close ally) he was not a fan due to their indiscipline.

Me wanting to draw the characters with more realistic proportions vs not wanting to bishonen/bishojo-fying them

Ferrets are well known for stealing things, but the moon? You've gotta have either zero sense of proportion, or a very good sense of perspective. Bixx would like to think ix has both!

(A lovely Patreon piece by @.kresendoe! I really vibe with the expression here.)

Although Last House's episodes seriously degraded throughout the early portions of this arc, there is some marginal improvement, particularly with the likes of Ohara (pictured) producing some stylish work with some solid Uchiyama corrections on top.

Yas! I’m an illustrator. So, yes Illustrated my comics cover.
& i’m about 2 do it again. I’m quietly shitting myself over it.
Covers r stressful. Which is why illustrators that give a shit charge proportionately. Nobody cares more about ur cover than ur illustrator. Not even u 😂

Prototyping, revising proportions, and other elements but excited for the cursed buddies to become reality yoooo

Haven't drawn this guy in a while, plus I wanted to try and play with proportions and try a semi-chibi style? I think it came out pretty nicely!!

A pair of painting practice! First one is a more realist Agatha, technique inspired by Alberto Mielgo's concept art for Spiderverse. Second pic is a self portrait to get more used to face proportions 🍑

Stealing from a friend

Also the proportions on that second image are a bit off, but the colors are accurate

Also, ignore the character with the violin in the last image
