I was all 'making refs for all my characters should be easy!' But my first effort ended up rough and need to reevaluate how I want to make these.

I think a good example is how I feel about Ryou Ramiya's artwork from the 90s vs 2000s.

There's an effortlessness to the 90s artwork that was lost in the 2000s, even if her skills obviously increased. Still love her 2000s works, ofc, but it's just an observation.
