revisited an old octoling OC!
His name is Tenno who, through the octoling trials, made it to the surface! His favorite things are burgers and squid cellphones, he's a big fan of their technology since it's quite different from where he's from
What's up, I'm Matt! I like space, photography, and technology! I mostly retweet art/post comms I've gotten here!

Each (main game) final battle of the DKC series points to the next game.
Gangplank Galleon -> DKC2's pirate theme
Flying Krock -> DKC3's technology/mad science theme
Kastle KAOS -> DK64 BIG LASER GO BZZZAP
Finally colored and shaded this! As you can see I'm still very passionate about that 'Nef with a cape' idea. Please Insomniac, give this man the cape he's always deserved to have, we now have the technology to properly animate them 👀

Lonely Receiver to me explores the relationship between us and the technology we form this symbiotic bond with. I’ve got so many thoughts. This is a new slice of horror for me. Buy it.
To “animate” his paintings, Leopold Survage made dozens of watercolor studies for an abstract color film.
The Russian artist was ahead of his time: such an animation was still on the edge of technological possibility, and the film was never realized. https://t.co/hS90hXo0KG
Why haven’t we heard from ET yet?
My hypothesis is that the nearest technological civilization isn’t as close as we’d like to believe. Our radio signals have only traveled ~100 light years in all directions, and the Milky Way is ~100,000 light years across.
What do you believe?
Fortuna honestly has to be one of the most interesting settings in the series, the almost Renaissance-like architecture and clothing mixed with both modern and motor-technology and a religion revolving around Sparda. I would love if we could revisit this place in the future
Thinking about the AVATAR films by James Cameron - there's a deep contradiction at their heart. Avatar is a "Noble savage against the evils of technology" story, but it uses all the latest hi-technology in its making - undermining its core message.
