The illustrations and stories of Big Bear and Little Bear by Martin Waddell, illustrated by Barbara Firth were great favourites when my son was small. Wonderful expressive pictures.

🥤+ 🍟 = 🐕 I have a lifelong fear of/respect for dogs. The first dog I ever loved was a Schnauzer. She was my childhood friend Danny’s dog. While she was energetic, she left me alone and we respected each other.
