Got #3 done for #avianaugust - Pharaoh's Chicken!! Perhaps more commonly known as an Egyptian Vulture, heh! :>
Really fun species to work with, honestly?? Don't think I've ever drawn a Vulture before, so this was exciting!!
Day 3 of #AvianAugust! This time it's the Pharaoh's Chicken, also known as the Egyptian Vulture! What a strange bird, but such a striking silhouette! They're known for using rocks to break eggs to eat!

The Pharaoh's chicken, or Egyptian vulture, actually lives in Europe! They migrate to Africa during winter, travelling up to 640km per day. Fun fact: they use rocks to crack open thick-shelled eggy snacks, but their aim is horrible so it takes them some time. #avianaugust day 3
