Mega Man 8 to me is the quintessential 2D platformer. The level design is very surreal (in a good way). The music is a nice bend of electronica with a dose of 90s house music, The visual design is SULER colorful and I also find the bad 90s English VO really nostalgic and charming

nimbus was always very inspired by 90's platformer mascots, and even though he was meant to feel out of place in the beach setting for Plot Reasons, after a while it didn't really feel right

It's the first platformer in the series, Pac-Land! A really fun game which hasn't been rereleased often, so I'm glad it's in Pac-Man Museum+. I based this drawing on the cover of the PC Engine version.

I uploaded on Archive the freeware unreleased Atari ST version of Italian platformer Lupo Alberto. Inspired by the comic book character, the game was originally released only on Amiga and C64.
The ST version was finished but left unreleased until 2015.

15. MagicalxSpiral Demo. I don't know what attracts me to a lot of indie platformers with a low budget, but this one is at least pretty fun to play. The Level design could use a little work, but the actual mechanics are really good.
