So far, this year has been great for me when it comes to sequels! Kaguya-sama s2's fantastic directing, humor, and character writing skyrocketed the show into my top 20. Re:Zero s1 is in my top 5, so of course I loved s2's complex narrative, characters, and beautiful messages.

Something that doesnt get enough recognition is Disney tv series based off their animated movies. These shows were WAY BETTER than the direct to DVD sequels. Aladdin sequel movie 40 Thieves was good though.
