Not breaking any new ground here but yeah, the original show is an absolute masterpiece- writing, world building, characters, animation... the high level of directing and framing of shot and precise pacing of scenes. I'm blown away, should have watched it long time ago.

Overall it was a 6.9/10 Season for me

JT arc was definitely better in the anime than in the manga, it was done justice and was amazing, EA arc had a good direction and Shirakumo Ep too, MVA was... ok

What definitely screwed up S5 was the pacing, the cuts and the rearrangement

Just something from my VA practice its one of my favorite monologues in all of anime, Its pacing is different and I know I can't do Mayuri, but it was fun regardless. Lemme know if you guys would be interested in seeing more stuff like this!

(G5 thoughts) Even with the plot holes, the slow pacing and the unanswered questions I think the movie was a good start. Not the epic opening I wanted, but I'm fine with it. Gonna wait for the incoming anim. series, I guess.

I just finished H2O: Footprints in the Sand.

There's not much to say but it was a fun read and I really liked the ambience. Hayami is cool. There's a few pacing issues, but overall, it's good for what it is and I can recommend it.

I just completed the 1997 anime and it was really good overall! Definitely better than I expected it to be despite its slow pacing. It had great animation, superb soundtrack, amazing voice-acting and a good OP & ED. I love the fact that it was faithful to the manga too!!

His finisher would be called
"Learn Your Place"
where he kicks you to the ground and beats your face in,
brushes himself off,and gets up and looks down on you repeating said phrase,and he'd have a big knockback kick that'd bounce you off the wall,allowing for more combos/spacing.

New X-Men this is the issue with the big xorn reveal so i guess if you haven’t read this 18-year-old comic yet — surprise! pacing here is superb, though
