@aKindNoodle I can't say for certain but sometimes there are casings that imitate muscle placement? I did a few but I don't then they're very good... or simplistic at that

@makeupanartistt Most of my ocs have simplistic designs which makes it easy to draw by memory
The only times where I'd use refs is when I need to get a character's colour scheme and sometimes double checking for accuracy
