Yeah, these won’t stop anytime soon. This time I tried doing the whole thing with the pencil brush alone. It gave me some great textures but I’d lose the subtleties (which I kinda like).

After a long search for references on Pinterest and shooting some of myself, I start working on polishing the shapes in Photoshop looking for balance in the values and use of textures. I always remind myself to go from big general strokes and shapes and then the details.
