I think my true calling in animation is doing color scripts: low detail quick thumbnails that just paint the mood and tone of a scene. Sometimes when the lighting/color is right, the actual drawing can be trash but it still looks nice somehow.

The anime style of the sequel isn't bad at all, looks like something for a series. Simple and clean designs that suit much better for animation. It depends on the tone of the game for the art direction. Rondo of Blood has a very anime aesthetic that worked great on the cutcenes
