Like you, Ellen, I like the creamy white of the paper. But once in a while I'll do a little something for a background of sorts.

tbh tho backgrounds and meme redraws are where i tend to vibe the most lately (i've posted both of these landscapes before multiple times)

Drew this based on a roleplay I'm part of
The story is pretty tense right now, and the EIA (Eggman Inteligence Agency) won't stop for a second, so they end up falling asleep working

These are Agent Stone (Sonic Movie), Agent X19 (Sonic the Comic) and Agent N (Sonic Underground)

And here's our buddy with no background, just his pal flying by to pick him up.

i usually keep it simple for my convenience. i tend to draw over other layers. my pixel arts usually consist of a reference layer, the background, and one layer for the drawing. and maybe a greyscale filter to check values. usually try to keep it under 10 https://t.co/iajPLMrNdi

A challenge of for me is what to do with background? Leave blank? I like the creamy white of paper. But I think most people want something to ground it in the surroundings.

If Chao like a character enough in ‘Sonic Adventure’, they’ll draw sketches of them on the ground. This is Sonic’s artwork.

JUST IN CASE!! this is the original drawing!

I always loved this one I made back in the day but the background looked so awful... I decided to redo it and now it's pretty much better- 💙
