I don’t care what anyone says, I really like this illustration. The specific colour grading is absolutely immaculate, the atmosphere is showcased in such an effective way and the contrast between Emilia and Rem (who both look fantastic here) and their environs works well.

It was exceptional with many cuts more vastly improved after lackluster showings. Series Director Toshimasa Suzuki storyboarded the whole endeavor. Background animation with clutters of debris flailing around. Great use of beams, smoke, and special effects.
