I also wanted to try out that loose broken line I see a lot of cool artists do. It makes lining easier and faster, but using the fill tool a little harder.

There's a tool to cut open ANY model in a planar fashion. (Sadly no globes, that would have been rad!)
It's called "Section Plane" and you find it under "Tools".

i hesitated for a day on whether or not to post anything for this thing so no-one'll see it but i draw with a pen tool in adobe illustrator using a mouse, which necessitates my being very patient. i'm good at patterns/textures i think
