Not sure if that's a hot take, but I always found SA2 to be such a downgrade compared to SA1.
- much linear levels
- no hubs
- FAR worse controls
- some real tedious treasure hunting stages
- weirdly paced narrative that doesn't hit until the finale
- overall worse OST even.

Finished Kill La Kill, minus all the fan service, it was a pretty enjoyable anime. It has a solid cast with a great protagonist, it has great animation and a great soundtrack. Overall a solid anime so I’ll rate it an 8/10 😮‍💨🔥
