Flats, shadows, any lighting then lineart above all. Sometimes Lineart gets a clipped layer for colour. This won't be everyone's process but I definitely work at my best being streamlined!

hmmm a trick they use a lot in this episode is two tone light shading, especially for lightning - they apply this over art they're otherwise drawing unshaded and it gives stronger impression of the shape in 3d without having to do it all the time - easy to imitate w layers
