This morning I shared a volume from the Beyond Midnight Arc of “Higurashi no naku koro” on my bookshelf thread, and got so excited that I just reread the arc. Needless to say it’s fantastic. Probably my favorite art from the manga series (note: each arc has a different artist).

Hm, how drastically shaded are you talking here? The shading I have put in past refs I feel are fairly neutrally overcast and easy to understand, with varying levels of character detail/complexity.
