I tried painting again. I wonder if my drawing looks better with just celshading. Or if I should try a more detailed shading again, but don't know how to do it best. I am aimless.

I originally tried rendering the hair in a more painterly way, and just got super frustrated and went back to this basic style of shading. Hair is hard and I need more practice!

I don't think there's a wrong or right way to shading.

Personally I make new layers and hue shift when I shade because I think it looks really nice!

The is the first traditionally animated movie I’ve seen in a theater in I-don’t-know-how-long, and it was delightful. Like the Simpsons Movie, it takes what works from the series, ups the stakes, refines the humor, and improves the visuals with nice shading.
