SPACEX LAUNCH UPDATE: Starlink 13 is scheduled for launch this morning @ 10:22am EDT. B1058.3 is on its 3rd trip & landing is expected on OCISLY. Weather is at a 60% GO, but there is a lot of rain in the area.

One of the early options for a Moon landing was the Direct Ascent. A Nova rocket with up to 8 F-1 was proposed. In the end, NASA select the "Lunar Orbit Rendezvous' method and the Saturn design was a quicker way to meet the deadline.
