Ehhhh, this isn't the first time he's told to run, though, & thinking he wouldn't be 'affected' when Sonic warned him about it is one thing, but in this specific instance, it should've clicked to him what "run" meant and that he WASN'T immune, bc he clearly had a realisation here

I'd been warned by my editor that alphabet books are tough to sell, but I countered that this book did not teach the alphabet--it parodied them with made up words. Also it counted objects that were beyond counting (like the hairs on someone's head)...
