The very first NPC I ever made that accidentally became the BBEG for that whole story arc.

the man has a family to protect
never switched up on the team
fought in the tournament of power
fought in every major arc (besides black and U6vU7)
sparred against Goku Blue

not to mention his potential was unlocked by Guru so he doesn’t even have a cap on his power

Done reading One Piece 1057 not going to give my thoughts on it individually for a couple reasons

1. Their could be more context about events after.

2. I want to save it for my arc review which I am writing now!

The boy himself Grimmjow, one of the Espadas of Sosuke Aizen. Great character will love to see him in the new arc again.

This is my favorite panel of the chapter 😭 it’s been rent free, every arc ending has something unique to it and I love how this one made it feel the final scene of a sitcom where the cast comes out and says goodbye. I’m gonna really miss these characters

Umbrella Academy

Sobered superhero stories are nothing new but I prefer this one's more Incredibles-esque approach that can take itself seriously without sacrificing the weird. This art style recently steered my own in a totally new direction for the better. Dallas arc kicks ass
