Hear me out! Imagine a moveset where Blathers can summon a plethora of fish and insects and his Final Smash could be sending forth a stampede of living fossils! His moveset would be high-concept, but I think it would be awesome!

The gameplay feels just like the prequel. The players still have that leggy art style to them. The enemies have similar moves, and the platforming action re-visits many of the excellent set-pieces from before. It just feels like we've moved to a more colourful, tropical setting.

Aknosom was made by combining a crane with the kasaobake. Aknosom utilizes the parasol-like crest on its head in various ways by changing that appendage's shape in combat, and it moves differently compared to other bird wyverns.

It's not an especially new trend. I'd say something that's been creeping in during the last decade as color design moves away from paint to digital. It showed up in Adventure's often bright daytime color palette.
