se- took a month and a half and made me lose a lot of confidence in my pastel skills

obviously in some circumstances it’s necessary, but on a composition where it’s not maybe I’ve been over complicating things 🤔 for my self.

This is maybe why I’ve gravitated towards images like this ⬇️ where you can see an entire space.
