Cerulean Sand has alot similarities with Future Boy Conan and Nadia, which should mostly be attributed to all of these being inspired by Jule Vernes. Alot of similar staff that worked in Conan are involved too(Kazuhide Tomonaga and Atsuko Tanaka).
