Takeshi Shudo wrote the first, while the TRio’s VA’s wrote the third.

XY took the smart approach and only had Musashi and Kojiro catch one mon each. This led to better focus and character development, making the Kalos mons one of the best Rocket groups there is.

Sadly, they did not get a reunion.

While first introduced at the end of DP, Matori became more of a rival figure (mostly for Musashi) starting in SM.

While Rockets are tired of reporting to her, they do manage to get the best of her from time to time. 😈

In the Houen region, the TRio find a poacher has captured Arbok and Matadogas’ pre-evolved forms.

The three rescue them, but end up fighting off the poacher who captured them, and sadly have no choice but to release their original mons. 😭

Musashi’s mom was a Rocket agent named Miyamoto. In a Japanese only CD drama, it was revealed that she was sent on a mission (and presumably died) to find Mew by Sakaki’s mother, Madame Boss.

She always kept a picture of Musashi with her. ❤️
