People say my design is too complex. Artists hate to draw it, and I've been turned away from commissions because of it. XD I love my design, and so does my audience. I totally get it, though.

I don't have a full body yet, but this is Wilder. He's part Chicken, part hare!
My journey has been long and complex. I came out 12 years ago and faced a lot of discrimination. But now I'm doing better! It was more taboo to change your gender when I first started.

If by "fursuit friendly" you mean a design that could feasibly be turned into a suit, I think Martini counts!
Also, a coding/digital themed canine, though it's a bit more complex, and an elephant which is a bit of a more simplistic design, but still could be harder to do.

trying out some new techniques.
I figured out that I could use my grayscale sketch as an imprimatura and it made painting these complex scenes 10x easier

There are actually two! Currently I lean more on Abstract and Penumbra, since they are the simplest to draw but have a complex lore and history. It's also because it's a fun exercise to do lineless art, and experimenting with colors :>

Wanted to finish this before hopping to the icons~
I'd like to practice these so if anyone would be interested in one for $28(+4 if complex), DM me~
Keep in mind though that your character will be simplified since this is meant to be a simpler sort of chibi~

Start ➡ Finish!!
On complex works I always start with shapes and values. Helps me to find a right balance and composition quickly that I will follow until the end!

Orion - A bold and confident dancer from a planet with a complex star system. Orion's dance style is a mix of martial arts and dance, with a lot of sharp and controlled movements that make them seem like a cosmic warrior.
