I don’t need to go over the whole history of the Eternals, but I do like this explanation that the Flood was caused when the Celestials tried to wipe out the Deviants, and the remaining humans were saved by the Eternals on a giant ark!

My problem with the original Eternals series by Kirby is that it didn’t have a context within the Marvel universe as a whole. It ignored other superheroes and had global events not referenced in other comics. Let’s see how (or if) this series addresses that.
