i would like to direct your attention to this lace detail. looks like it took me ages to ink, right?? wrong. i took a texture and just messed with the gamma curves so it got fucked up and looked like black and white pixel art and set it to multiply. work smarter not harder

1. Solid lineart.
2. Soft shade with a multiply layer over a flat bg.
3. Do flats separately.
4. Combine all.
5. Lock pixels.
6. Begin to blend over top, sampling and switching between hard and soft brush to blend out the lines and and do little details.

E mesmo fazendo tudo certinho, pode acontecer da percepção mudar a personagem aparentar ter uma pele mais clara. Use seu julgamento e teste aumentar a variação da paleta pra isso não acontecer! Nesse aqui, por exemplo, eu pessoalmente adaptaria com um leve multiply.

its just based on the geometry but the probability of splitting the edges to smaller pieces is determined by the distance. You can also add some noise to multiply this to get even more random parts.

if you don't feel like shading each individual layer, you can shade with a brown or violet over all layers. I usually set it to multiply and lessen the opacity. this is also the part where I will manually use a pen or airbrush to draw in the sections
