Most of my ocs have simplistic designs which makes it easy to draw by memory
The only times where I'd use refs is when I need to get a character's colour scheme and sometimes double checking for accuracy
But yea, a lot of times, I don't use refs often for my ocs-

A neat fish dude with a pretty nice tail! Fantasy Strike seems a tad bit too simplistic for my tastes but this particular character is pretty awesome looking. Might give the game a try someday still.
