Hands down, its Kyrey. Funnily enough, I dont really remember when I made him. Hes had a few design changes, and is one of my go-tos to sketch. Hes a strategic warrior who values friends and family, and suffers the effects of severe magic poisoning.
Their names are literally something i just googled and/or mishmashed together, like "haha, letters sound pretty".. so they aren't even named after anything. Funnily enough, my nickname is actually my character's (blonde girl's) name, so i guess i'm named after my character?
funnily this is super similar to a Vegeta i Drew in January 2018, its not a redraw but its interesting to see how my style has changed.

Earliest known initial concept designs for Rance, Sill, and Lia. These predate the original 1989 game.
Funnily enough, Rance's design image is labelled as "Protagonist", and has a note that says "The name 'Rance' sucks. We should rework it."
Unfortunately however, by widening the playfield from 256 to 320 pixels without modifying the proportions of the artwork, the Genesis version just looks flat out wrong when aspect ratio corrected for a 4:3 screen. Funnily it would've looked much better the low resolution mode!

So funnily enough, Palutena's trophy in Smash 4 has actual panties instead of shorts like her in-game fighter model. This is probably the reason why the underside of her trophy was darkened upon release. Once again, these textures aren't edited.
