Routa on ollut "onnettomuudessa", jossa siltä meni sormet tohjoksi. Vasenkätisenä kirurgina se on vähän huonompi juttu. Trauma ja leikkaus jätti jälkeensä kivut, eikä käden toimintakyvyn palautuminen ole täysin varmaa.
