My experience of learning how to draw in a year.
Its been insane how much I've improved in just a year and its insane to me.
I know there has been alot of downs in my life, but I need to remember that there are ups too

listen man if you keep thinking that then your just gonna be sadder and sadder. dont compare yourself to other people, compare yourself to past work that you made. here are some examples of past art that you made vs. newer art. i think you have really improved.

i'm also including this as an honorable mention as this was done about a week after mister jewel box released and was me at my most ambitious. definitely shows it's age as it was the first thing i did beyond ms paint but i guess it shows how much i've improved over time.

I don't have anything new prepared for today so here's some paintings I made in 2016
I've improved since then, but there's something I still like about these

First version of the first page I drew of Honestly not a Robot vs one of the latest pages up on my site nearly 4 years later.
Both have chairs in them! Of note, my lettering improved leaps and bounds at the very least.

Ah! Its been ages since I last drew in this style! About 3 years? This style is still extremely important to me and I'm probably going to switch to it from time to time when making illustrations! I've also improved a lot so it looks a bit different👀;;!

Comparing the old sprite vs the new one, it was a streamlined effort among us to have an improved design for Ollie 2.0

from a personal pov, my art improved?? 🥺

It was this one for me.

After almost a year of not making any art for myself and being in a bad place artistically, I kinda just made this on a whim and it improved my self esteem. This was a study of course but I realized I just needed to go back to the basics. https://t.co/eirUGhIpVa
