They look real, like armor, but they don't have any busy vague nonesense lines. And any lines they do have accentuate the figure.

i actually don't like this one in-game that much, but i think actual fabric textures would give it more life, especially to the shorter skirt

also, the asymmetrical colors of the shoes and ribbons are cool i think
