Because from what I'm looking at in my research, even the less beefed up She-Hulks in the comics are buffer than the TV Show's design. She seems to always at least have defined biceps and abs, unless you go back to the very-very first comics, even by the early 90's she was stronk

were thinking at the time? Even the movie adaption of Alvin; while it looked nothing like his cartoon incarnation, I could still 'accept' that was Alvin if he existed in a more realistic (fantasy) setting. That said, the latter design is more accurate to the original design.
