Funfact:

The scars on scarlets arms are a combination of both fights and death marks.

She typically puts her arms up in front of her for self defense, so she often gets cut/bit around those areas. So In death / via mauled by dogs / she got quite a few cuts and bites on her —+

Here's my take on the challenge, lined vs sketch! Banned items include: thick + black lineart, soft shading, dark colors, typical eye shape, small hands, small noses, watercolor brushes, aand blur shading. So I went with full chibi inspiration! This was super fun!

I think it depends on what you're trying to go for. If you want high detail then the drawing is more important but you can also get good art without a good drawing. Ishida for example typically goes for more painting than drawing in his art. While Miura would draw more than paint
