I don't have anything from 2009 right now so
2005 vs 2019
#glowup #2009vs2019
don't stop because you think you don't have "talent" or something like that, it's a matter of practice, passion & the privilege of time. keep on rocking 💪
(and get rid of those "beauty standards" ew)
I need to redraw that green haired lady sometime to do a proper comparison XD
2019 > 2009 > 2005
I dropped the manga style by then and cartoons made a comeback. I really enjoyed (still do) the color pencils. Eve and Salome.
I love the colours.
2005.
It's not specific to this end of decade (the past few years have been the most fulfilling anyways), but I use to use MS Paint a lot (roughly 2005-2013).
I had a bit of an ego when I was a kid and I wanted to be 'kool kid who could draw on bad program'😬
(2007, 2010, 2011, 2015)
2012. I painted a bunch of stuff and went to Otakon for the first time since 2005! I also drew a page in a comic project where a different artist drew 1 page each week.
Here's a concept art by Ryan Church (Revenge of the Sith, 2005) and the ship in The Clone Wars.
this is a little bit more than a decade since the old one was no later than 2005 but #decadeofart
Digging for 2009 art I found a bunch of 2005-ish art. 18 year old Jem liked lanky limbs a lot.
for good measure here's one from 2005.... baby's first digital art (a neopet ofc)
SINCE 2005
I'VE BEEN LIVING A LIE
I'M NOT EVEN A MAN
I'M JUST A CAT IN DISGUISE
So I'm reading Supergirl (2005) comics and apparently synthetic kryptonite doesn't affect Kara. CW! Supergirl can't relate. All of that to create drama between Supercorp 🙃🙃🙃
