and this is where the modern-looking Tails design falls flat. His proportions are stretched unnaturally, like his hands, shoes, and tails being to large. not to mention, this design doesn't work for the Sonic.exe story. Again - Sonic.exe is based on the classic line-up of games.

this isn't really eerie, i'd say it's just weird-looking. The reason the new Tails looks "chibi" is because that's tail's original design from the 90's, which is what Sonic.exe is based on, classic sonic games.
