Old school drawing of Victor Fries and Nora ('Heart of Ice' is still my fav Batman: TAS episode ever). Also I actually found the thumbnail sketches I drew when I was coming up with the composition. It looks like chicken scratch but you've gotta start somewhere! 🤷‍♀️❄❄

For comparison, here’s two pieces I did at the beginning of our lesson.

Grace helped me work on getting clearer forms, and also helped a lot with studying composition.

Most importantly, she emphasized techniques I could use to apply in self study now that lessons have ended.

Making some magic orbs. Haven't done effects before, so just messing around. Not sure if they'll actually fit into this composition. I guess if I give them some shape to match the wind? Its layers of Voronoi and transparency from Facing. Will make fun light

I know I've already said this but I LOVE Rinnie's design!
She's an explosion of color!
It's hard fitting that long tail and hair in the picture though, I had to think a lot about the composition.

I gave up on this comic page for now because I did not like the overall composition...but man do I think Laurent looks pretty in white and with a hairdo 😌 Wish ppl drew him more often in white (or any other color than blue, really)
