Hair doesn't grow in a day. Sebastian had short hair in TFATWS cause he didn't have time to grow it & he hates wigs.

The art directors certainly know the source material. The scenes on Coruscant were STRAIGHT from the illustrations of Ryan Church and the OG Star Wars illustrator, Ralph McQuarrie. I felt like they all have The Illustrated Star Wars Universe at home...
