I very much prefer BDSP overworld sprite since it's literally a perfect representation of the original sprite.
They always looked like this, what did you expect if you didn't like the normal sized overworld models in SWSH.
The environments actually beautiful aswell.

I trained a bit at turning Art into sprites. I think my best attempt so far was when I turned Jaffar from FE7 official artwork into a sprite. It was a great experience and learned a lot about shading from that. Love that edgy boi.
