The base idea of combining genes f/ several organisms sticks. What made this variant popular derives from its strange charm as a reptilian bird, an outcry from the monstrosities chimera are usually depicted as.
The Drain Deimos from RE399 have returned for 3R, and they're a lot smaller this time around. I like it, they remind me of the Chimera found in the first game's lab. It's like a re-run for Jill, dealing with something she's familiar with on a somewhat larger scale.
