Yeah but it's gotten worse as his style's evolved. In P3 and 4, the faces still had stylized proportions but those faces were also shorter and rounder, which keeps them from having P5's "rat" quality.

weird facial proportions, creates a rat face effect. bottom of your nose generally aligns with the bottom of your earlobes (give or take). look how far down their faces makoto and akechi's noses are.

Unpopular opinion, but I prefer toy figure Ghidorah's proportions over the movie version's. The whole thing just looks more intimidating, especially next to Godzilla. The thicc thighs and small heads comes off goofy (like the original design) during the end.
