I add a smol triangle for the nose, and a lil bit of eyeshadow. I also highlight the skin on the parts i want to give some more life, so the shadows wont swallow it all. on some emotes, i like to add a blue shade on the neck to give it more depth! but as i said up to u

I use a soft and a hard shade sequence, soft where it should show some curve and a smol amount of shadow, and hard where the shadows should mostly be. this is my TRUST THE PROCESS moment

I used to stay away from POC ocs/characters mostly cos I was terrified of getting the skin tone/shade wrong. Now I'm older and a lot of my more recent characters have been POC, im very proud of myself on how they look, though I do need to learn how to do textured hair in my style
