I kinda feel like that the Iron Warriors were from a different idea, but were later repurposed to fit the Iron King story.
They removed his head, and the axe was modify to look more like a giant mace. Curiously enough, the Smelter Hammer says that it was originally an axe.

I'm Geeky and I dont like drawing animals but I LOVE drawing chickens. we used to have some before my parents moved and I would sit outside with them when I was sad. They were sweethearts and always came running when we called them. So now I draw anime characters as chickens ☺️
