The main love interest in the Dahlia in Bloom light novel is pretty bland as a fictional character, but if he were a real person, he'd be the guy who restores your faith in men after you've had a disastrous string of Tinder dates.
You can have a normal conversation! Holy shit!!
This weekend I read "I Refuse To Be Your Enemy!" This was one of J-Novel Club's first shoujo light novels, and honestly it's one of their better ones.
Instead of an otome game, this one is based on a strategy RPG - basically the world of Fire Emblem.
The fact that The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten volume 5 has a chapter called "Nothing Too Sexy" sums up my biggest problem with this series LMAO, this couple is entirely too Christian
I'm now caught up with all four volumes of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten out in English so far!
It's a simple and satisfying romance. Mahiru is an appealing heroine because she's realistically cold at the start but gradually becomes incredibly sweet and flirtatious.

After finishing Torture Princess, my biggest reading priorities are:
- My Happy Marriage
- The Holy Grail of Eris
- Your Forma
- The Misfit of Demon King Academy
After putting some time aside to read Keishi Ayasato's other works, I'm back on the Torture Princess train.
I figured that with volume 8, the story would become a race to the finish and I was right.
The translated prose was absolutely lyrical this volume.
New blog post!
Now that the dates in Sword Art Online have finally caught up to reality, let's look back on how well the series predicted the future.

"Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle" by Hiromu
A light novel with a Chad protagonist. He spends most of the first volume feeling more like a side character, though, since the plot revolves around him helping an otaku guy. I'm interested in what the later volumes do with him
