It's a simple and satisfying romance. Mahiru is an appealing heroine because she's realistically cold at the start but gradually becomes incredibly sweet and flirtatious.

I figured that with volume 8, the story would become a race to the finish and I was right.

The translated prose was absolutely lyrical this volume.
